Boat Fire

Marine Rescue NSW and other agencies have responded to a boat fire at the northern end of Pittwater, adjacent to Palm Beach. There were two people and a dog onĀ board. The fire has been extinguished and all occupants are safe. Marine Rescue Central Coast received an urgent call for help from the skipper of the nine-metre fly-bridge cruiser. The water police were notified and a call went out over marine radio for assistance from any vessel in the vicinity. A passing boat came to the rescue, shortly before the arrival of vessels from Marine Area Command – NSW Police Force?,Marine Rescue Cottage Point, NSW Maritime? and NSW Rural Fire Service?.Thanks to all involved.
