Yacht in tow crossing Bar at Little Box Head

On Thursday 3rd March at 12.15pm Marine Rescue Central Coast was asked to assist a 10.0m yacht with mechanical problems to its berth at Yattalunga. The yacht was in transit from Sydney and was in Broken Bay approaching the bar at Little Box head. The skipper sought help crossing the bar and negotiating the narrow channels in Brisbane.

Bob Sullivan and his crew on rescue vessel Central Coast 22 went to the aid of the yacht. It was taken in tow and taken safely to its berth at Yattalunga.
